Anniversary Event – Connection

On 30 August 2011 the big Comenius Anniversary Event to celebrate the 15^th year of our existence will take place in the Broederkerk church in Zeist. This festive event will be open not only to the members of the Association but also to current participants and lecturers. To celebrate the 15^th year of our existence we will also fly in some of the most appreciated foreign lecturers. Doctor H. O’Doherty, associated to Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and renowned for his views on and methods involving leadership development and mediation, will present an interactive lecture on 30 August. Professor N. Zárubová, conductor and lecturer at the Prague Music Academy will talk about the power of music and how the profession of conductor can be inspiring to leaders in a social context. Apart from speaking she will also perform a few pieces on the grand piano to make her arguments felt. We have only lifted a slight corner of the veil here. In May all alumni and lecturers will receive a personal invitation. We will also be presenting an Anniversary Book.
